Osaka to end Spring Break

These are mostly at Osaka Castle where I went with Mrs. Hoshika one of my host moms from 4 years ago to see USJ(Universal studios Japan) actors put on a play while Osaka castle was lit up with projection mapping or something

 After we had dinner and went to a bar which was fun

The next day we went to a nice french restaurant where I ate way too much

 I got my hair done

Takamatsu Trip Feb 17-18th

 Konpira Kabuki Theatre: the oldest extant theatre in Japan

 The beginning of the bajillion steps to Konpira Shrine: 785 steps to the main Shrine, 1368 to the top. I don't think that includes the flat stretches between flights of stairs...

 finally at the main temple but there are still more stairs to go to the top of the mountain

all of the rest of the shrines after the main one are tiny ones like this... I made it most of the way to the top but I got tired and turned around especially since the temple/ shrine at the top wasn't all that impressive according to the others...
